Happy Valley Farm Trail

Farmers Serving the Community Since 1890

WHY YOU SHOULD BUY FRESH -

YOU'LL STRENGTHEN YOUR LOCAL ECONOMY
Buying food from your local farmer keeps your dollars circulating in your community. Getting to know the farmer who grows your food builds relationships based on trust, understanding, and the foundation of a strong community.

YOU'LL SUPPORT ENDANGERED FAMILY FARMS
There's never been a more critical time than now to support your farming neighbors. With each food purchase, you will ensure that more of your money supports the local farmer.

YOU'LL PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Local food doesn't have to travel far. This reduces your carbon footprint and uses no packing materials. Buying local food also helps to make farming more profitable and selling farmland for development less attractive.

YOU'LL GET SUPERB FRESHNESS AND TASTE
Local food is fresher and tastes better than food shipped long distances from other towns, states, or countries. Local farmers can offer a variety of produce. The freshest and tastiest produce is not shipped and has a longer shelf life.

BUYING LOCAL IS EASY
There are a variety of farmers to choose from, with an assortment of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and nuts.  You can search either by farmer or by the product you are looking for.
